ECP Emery Park Safety Improvements
Scope of Work:
Rodriguez Construction Group teamed up with Erie County, serving as Prime Contractor, to complete safety improvements at Emery Park in South Wales, NY. The scope focused on enhancing public access and safety at two locations within the park through the construction of new stairs and two pedestrian bridges.
Site work included excavation for structural post footings, upper landing areas, and creek crossing support locations across all three structures. RCG installed pressure-treated wood posts set in concrete footings, constructed upper landing platform framing and decking, installed stair stringers with associated bracing, and completed a wood handrail system with vertical support posts. All temporary fencing, site protection, shoring, and final cleanup were provided by RCG as part of the general requirements scope.
