ABOUT THE JOB

Rodriguez Construction Group is looking for interns to join our construction team. This position will give you the chance to work on some of our firm’s top construction projects. Our internship will provide students with supervised practice at the work site or in the office.

Interns will help assist the Project Management team or Superintendents in the field by offering assistance, coordination, and information required to construct the project on time. Interns will report to the Project Manager or Project Superintendent.

As an Intern with Rodriguez Construction Group, the purpose of the internship is to provide the student with supervised practice at the work site or in the office in the continuing daily operations of construction. This is a non-exempt position offering 20-40-hour workweeks. We are flexible with student schedules during the semester. Education and Experience Requirements

  • Working toward a four-year degree in Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent is preferred with at least three (3) years of education, and a basic knowledge of building construction experience.
  • Computer skills and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite programs.
  • Must have Basic Math, Calculator, and Computer Skills.
  • Strong ability to demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
