Rodriguez Construction Group served as the prime general contractor for the LULA (Limited Use/Limited Application) elevator installation at the Buffalo Zoo, completed on behalf of the City of Buffalo. Working within an occupied historic structure at 300 Parkside Avenue, RCG managed all phases of construction across the basement, first floor, second floor, attic, and roof of the building, coordinating a multi-trade scope of work within the constraints of an active, public-facing facility.
RCG’s scope included the full LULA elevator installation, lead paint abatement, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work, as well as coordination of HVAC ductwork modifications and A/C evaporator placement necessitated by existing field conditions.
