Scope of work:
Rodriguez Construction Group was selected to provide construction management services by providing a full-time project superintendent for the Rochester Schools Modernization Program (RSMP). The schools our firm provided CM services for include the Edison Educational Campus, Dag Hammarskjold School No. 6, John Walton Spencer School No. 16, and Flower City School No. 54.
Edison Educational Campus:
The scope of work for this $30-million-dollar project included structural repairs within the building and reprogramming approximately 50,000 SF of classroom space.
Dag Hammarskjold School No. 6:
The scope of work for this $27-million-dollar project included a library remodel, a new kitchen and cafeteria addition, art room addition, music room and concert area additions along with security updates and making six classrooms handicap accessible with bathrooms in each classroom.
John Walton Spencer School No. 16:
The scope of work for this $46.6-million-dollar project included structural and masonry repairs, classroom renovations, window replacements, library renovations, a gymnasium addition with stage and food services, along with a 2-classroom addition.
Flower City School No. 54:
The scope of work for this $23-million-dollar project includes the demolition on existing modular classrooms and a two-story addition.
