Project name:
Erie County Lincoln Building – Covid Call Center
Scope of work:
Rodriguez Construction Group teamed up with Erie County, as the General Contractor, to restore the oldest remaining structure in the City of Buffalo into a Call Center for COVID Contact Tracing.
Built in 1833, the newly renamed Lincoln Building, formerly known as the Ticor Building, is part of the Joseph Ellicott Historic Preservation District. The historic building hosted many presidents and historic figures, including President Millard Fillmore, President Abraham Lincoln and President John Quincy Adams Jr.
This project required master coordination with the County under extreme circumstances of the pandemic. The renovations of the 20,000 SF historic building included selective demolition, plumbing, HVAC, roof replacement, asbestos abatement, mechanical, fire protection, lighting, and paint.
This new space for the Erie County Department of Health (ECDOH) will be used for years to come.
