ACV Auctions Phase 1 and Phase 2
Scope of work:
Rodriguez Construction Group was selected to provide services, as the Prime Contractor, for this project handling all coordination, subcontracting, inspections and final close out. RCG provided pre-construction support, valued engineering, coordination of documents and expedited cost proposals to enable the Owner to proceed with the project on a fast track, 120-day completion. This project is a Single Prime Contract that includes all MEP installations. Our management of this project required a full time Project Manager and Superintendent to be assigned to assure the schedule is met.
The project, Phase 1, consisted of a complete renovation of 9,620 sq. ft. of the existing 3rd floor area into a newly designed office space including new partitions, ceilings, flooring and MEP installations.
We worked with the design team to engage Phase 2 of this project which consisted of an additional 15,550 sq. ft. of area to be renovated. Phase 1 and phase 2 was awarded a contract amount totaling $2.4 million. Our firms working relationship with all parties enabled the Owner to provide the tenant with office space to support a work staff of 250 employees, on a single floor layout, within a 9-month period ahead of the anticipated 1 year estimated occupancy date. Our firm maintained the same management and field staff for the duration of this project which enabled a seamless transition from Phase 1 to Phase 2, minimizing disturbances of each phase and providing our firm the ability to expedite and deliver a project on time and within budget.
